Promoting Linguistics & Cultural Rights of Deaf People
We are a non-governmental organization established in Nigeria, dedicated to empowering the deaf community through resource mobilization, accessibility training, and public advocacy.
Key Areas of Impact
We implement strategic pillars to address systematic exclusions of deaf citizens in our society.
Partnership & Advocacy
We build a global network of partner organizations to promote Human Rights, inclusive policies, and equality for all deaf individuals.
Enlightenment & Awareness
Most of society does not understand deafness. We conduct awareness workshops and campaigns to bridge the communicative divide.
Empowerment
Deaf people are often forgotten in decision-making processes. We provide life-skills, training, and resources to build financial independence.
Job Placement
We combat workplace discrimination by demonstrating that Deaf workers offer 100% focused attention and peak productivity.
Deaf Resource Centre
Deaf Resource Centre is a non-governmental organization established to promote the development of the deaf community in Nigeria. We mobilize resources to open all kinds of opportunities to deaf Nigerians and support them in achieving their dreams. We believe that access to information is the bedrock of development, and the historical lack of accessible information for this community has hindered their growth in multiple ramifications.
We work to bridge this gap by promoting sign language literacy, providing professional sign language interpretation, and advocating for inclusive policy decisions in both government and private sectors.
